Pergolas & Decking
Perfect if you
LOVE BEING OUTDOORS
Pergolas and decking are a simple and affordable way to improve your garden and your time spent enjoying it. They restore functionality to forgotten areas and add instant aesthetic appeal.
Decking can be timber but is more commonly a high quality composite. This durable material is made from recycled plastic and wood, removing the need for regular maintenance. Decking doesn't have to be a flat surface, it can be built into a variety of shapes such as steps, seats, pits and planters.
Pergolas help to define a zone in your garden, usually one that is used for eating, cooking or sitting. They can be open and traditional or covered and protective. Most are built in treated timber but oak is also available on request.
Popular materials for the roof include: clear plastic sheets to let the light in, coloured metal sheets that make a statement or even the same rubber used on our garden rooms. There is also the option to clad the underside in cedar or softwood.

Completely Bespoke Experience
Every build starts with a meeting to discuss your specific needs and design choices. Then we design your new building, from scratch, exactly to your unique specifications.

Always Environmentally Conscious
Careful planning during the design and ordering phases means that waste is negligible. We only use sustainable materials or those that have the smallest environmental impact.

A Decade Of Carpentry Experience
Before garden rooms I trained in structural carpentry and mainly built timber frame houses, extensions and loft conversions. Every project is built to last.

Our Process
Step 1: Discussion
Get in touch for a free, no-obligation site visit. We'll assess your needs and discuss size and style options.
Step 2: Design
After our meeting, a basic CAD model is created to estimate costs and visualize your pergola and/or decking. We'll refine it until it's just right.
Step 3: Ordering
Once the design is finalised, materials are ordered and delivered directly to your site, securely stored, and managed by us.
Step 4: Base
For structures on grass, durable and eco-friendly ground screws are installed. The base is then built, levelled, and weathered.
Step 5: Structure
If you're having a pergola this is when the posts, beams and rafters go up. Unique elements can also be added to decking such as steps or seating.
Step 6: Finishes
Select from composite or timber decking to complete your build. Pergolas can be finished with a variety of roof sheets and/or ceiling timber.
