Process
Step 1: Discussion Phase
The first step is getting in touch to arrange a free, no obligation, site visit. This makes it easier to assess your specific needs and discuss your options with regards to size and style of garden room.
Step 2: Design Phase
After the initial meeting I create a very basic CAD model in order to accurately estimate the materials cost and give a very rough idea of what your new garden room may look like. Providing you are happy to continue we will redo and refine the model until it's exactly the way you want it.

Step 3: Ordering Phase
Once all the final design decisions have been made, everything is ordered direct to site for the first few days of the build from a collection of trusted suppliers. All deliveries are managed by us and everything is stored securely in your garden.
Step 4: Base Phase
If the garden room is located over grass, as many are, then ground screws are installed to take the weight of the building. These are durable, fast to install and environmentally friendly. Next, the joist base is built and levelled in position before being temporarily decked and weathered in.
Step 5: Build Phase (Structure)
Everyone's favourite part of the build as this is when most people get a first impression of the finished size and shape. Walls and roof take just days to build and make (almost) watertight. This is achieved with Housewrap and EPDM rubber roofing.
Step 6: Build Phase (Doors/Windows)
Whether you decide to go for aluminium frames or UPVC, windows and doors are always double glazed and high quality. This is when the building becomes fully watertight and the inside work can begin regardless of the changeable British weather.

Step 7: Inside Phase
Dense insulation is installed throughout, keeping it warm in Winter and cool in Summer. Walls and ceiling can be finished in ply, tongue and groove cladding or plasterboard if you wish to have the room plastered. Finally laminate flooring of your choice is installed to finish the inside.
Step 8: Finishes Phase
Your choice of cladding is the finishing touch to complete your new build. Options are: composite in a range of colours, British Larch or British Cedar. This is also when the electrician (of your choice or recommended by us) installs second fix such as lighting and plug sockets.
